How do I mask the smell of burnt paper ?

Ok, I acceidently burnt a piece of paper, (long story), and now the smell of burnt paper is everywhere, how do I get rid of this ?? I've tried boiling the kettle and letting the steam fill the room, will this work ?





P.s. I wasn't actually intending to burn anything, a piece of paper just drifted onto a candle ! :( !How do I mask the smell of burnt paper ?
The smell will get kinda heavy because of the steam, but i suggest you open a window no matter how cold it is.... put on a jacket %26gt;_%26lt; and then try spraying any perfume or axe or ANYTHING .... spray like 2-5 sprays (smal-wide area) and hope it drifts away... with a fan.How do I mask the smell of burnt paper ?
Can you open a window for a bit and let in some fresh air?
Lysol or Febreze will help but so will opening a window for a while.
