Perhaps one or two sheets could be used as sides so as to prevent the egg rolling off after impact. I am presuming the landing pad is attached to the ground and the egg dropped from a height? I would say put one sheet on the ground like a base. Then roll six sheets into cylinders, reinforced by tape, and tape them in place along the border of the base sheet. The remaining 3 sheets of paper should hang, evenly spaced, from the columns. Each sheet should have a little bit of slack. If you can use the tape to reinforce the edges of each sheet, then do it.
